What is a column inch?
- One column across (1.833") and one inch in height. Billing is calculated
using column inches. There is a ruler on the back cover to help you in
measuring column inches.
Is there a charge for the Daily News to design an ad for our company?
- The Daily News ad design department can design your display ad for free. There is a $6 charge to have
a classified display ad designed for you.
Can I be billed?
- It is our policy that you must advertise with us for at least a year before being billed. After that year
you may submit a credit application for consideration.
- If you are a well-established business or a chain coming into our area we will accept credit applications
for consideration.
What size ad can I run?
- As big as a double truck (two facing pages) no smaller than 1 column x 2 inches.
What are some common ad sizes and prices?
- On the right are some suggestions of sizes and prices (at open rate) to get the most space for your money.
